Dr Ashish Chawla (MBBS, MD, DABR) is an American Board of Radiology certified radiologist currently heading the cardio-pulmonary imaging section of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, Singapore. He is a consultant and research lead of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology. He is also advisor of CT imaging section.

Dr Chawla finished his radiology residency from the prestigious King Edward Memorial Hospital, Mumbai India. Subsequently, he moved to USA for four years of radiology fellowship including one year of neuroradiology, one year of abdominal imaging, followed by 2 years of cardio-thoracic radiology at National Jewish Health, Denver CO. His area of interest is interstitial lung disease.

Dr Chawla’s research interests are focused on the imaging of chest in the emergency department and diffuse lung diseases. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed articles including case reports, review articles, original research, book chapters and presented numerous papers in the various international conferences. He is actively involved in education and conducts chest radiology educational courses.
