A/Prof Khoo See Meng [MBBS, MRCP (UK), FRCP (Edinburgh), FAMS (Respiratory Medicine), MMed (Sleep Medicine) (Sydney)] is a Senior Consultant in the Division of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, University Medicine Cluster (UMC), National University Health System (NUHS), and Associate Professor in the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He is the Head of the Division of Acute Care, Director of the Sleep Laboratory and the inaugural Programme Director of the Internal Medicine residency in NUHS. A/Prof Khoo’s areas of clinical and research interest include sleep medicine, asthma, aerosol therapy and medical education. He is passionate about medical education and is the recipient of numerous teaching awards, including the UMC Teaching Awards, UMC Mentorship Award, Chan Heng Leong Overall Best Teacher Award, NUH Postgraduate Teaching Excellence Award, Residents’ Choice Awards, NUHS DIO Special Award for Excellent Mentoring and MEDSOC Outstanding Tutor Award. He has also been awarded the NUHS-Mochtar Riady Pinnacle Awards -Young Achiever Award for his leadership in medical education and clinical service.
